New developments with the Dali/Lamb Museum, Chicago

Hello, bloggers!

Many of you have followed Matt’s association with the Centre-Picasso in Horta de San Juan, Spain; the Centre Joan Miro in Montroig, Spain, and the joint Salvador Dali/Matt Lamb Museum, which opened in July in Barcelona.

Sheila Lamb Gabler, President and CEO of Matt Lamb Studios, very recently met with Chicago Mayor Richard Daley to discuss ongoing plans to establish a Dali/Lamb Museum in Chicago.  A photograph from that meeting is shown at the top of this post.

We are very excited about this wonderful opportunity to expose Dali’s and Lamb’s works to new audiences in Chicagoland and beyond!

Stay tuned for further updates on this amazing project!

In the meantime, here is a link to a page on the official Matt Lamb website, which leads to photos and information about the various Lamb Museums around the world:

Congratulations on these new developments. I do not live in Chicago but would like to visit sometime. Can you tell me more about the Dali/Lamb Museum? What is the relationship between Dali and Lamb? Thank you.

Dear Matt,
Congratulations on your Doctorate!!! The pictures on your web site show you and Rose and your family in great shape. We are basking in our air conditioning, at this time of the year. While we like the Sonoran Desert, we may move back to Chicago while we still have some friends able to talk.
Keep up the great work.
Love,
Jim and Inge Doody
