Here is a link to a 10-minute-long video on YouTube from our June 29, 2010 “Umbrellas for Peace” parade at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.

I loved it, what a great idea “Umbrellas for Peace”. Using the top of the umbrellas as a canvas to enable the individual to express themselves not only in there presence being there but also being able to express themselves with their images and words, displayed for all to see. Brilliant.

What would also work using the same umbrella technique would be "Umbrellas for a Sustainable Planet" It would work in so well. ie, water, drought, global warming, see where I am coming from. I'll be sure to suggest it to our next community meeting.

Any idea where one could get plain white umbrellas from in bulk.

Thank you for posting up this video.

What a wonderful idea. It is so nice to see so many children involved. They are the way of our future and educating them about peace and tolerance is the best way to bring it about.
Thanks for sharing this.
